China: consular section opening hours and phone numbers in Singapore

The Chinese Embassy's consular section handles passports, travel documents and notarisation. It is open mornings and afternoons on weekdays, with a break in the middle of the day.

The Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Singapore is at 150 Tanglin Road, Singapore 247969, in the Tanglin area near Orchard Road. Consular section telephone: **+65 6471 2117** and **+65 6258 1795**. These lines are answered 9:00–12:00 and 14:00–17:00, Monday to Friday, except public holidays. There is no phone service over the midday break. The consular section covers passport and travel document services, visas and entry permits, and notarisation and authentication. Before you travel there, check the embassy's own consular pages: appointment requirements, fees and document lists change without notice, and they differ by service. Going without checking is the most common reason people are turned away and have to use a second day of leave.
